CDO is a Two Day a Week Christian Child Development Program

Tuesdays and Thursdays are filled with laughter and learning from 9:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. at Children's Day Out (CDO). where preschoolers are engaged in learning opportunities with children their own age, 18 months - 5 years old.  While caring for your child's physical needs, our teachers interact with the children and guide them in their play. Using A Beka Book Bible Curriculum in addition to an academic curriculum for early education, the children are nurtured to develop their potential. This curriculum utilizes themes which provide wonderful experiences for the children to learn about the world around them. The themes involve family, friends, animals, self, and healthy foods. Through art, songs, stories, and, other play-oriented centers, our toddlers have numerous opportunities for multi-sensory learning.

At CDO, we also make time to share stories about Jesus and the Bible. AND...every Tuesday our children will go to chapel where Sheila Otis from "Sheila's Musical Expressions" leads the children with music, singing, movement and stories from the Bible.

Statement of Purpose

The Children's Day Out Ministry of North Side Baptist Church was started to minister and reach out to the members of North Side and the surrounding community by providing preschool children with a quality program of good learning experiences in a Christian setting.

• To provide a Christian ministry to the children and family.
• To enable mothers to have free time for personal and/or church activities.
• To give children a chance to experience life in a group with people their own age.
• To lead children to know of God's love and to have a better understanding about God and the church.
