Arrival and Dismissal:

CDO hours are 9:00am - 2:30pm.

  1. Until further notice, please enter and exit the building from the North door. 
  2. Please keep your children from entering the main church building and office area. 
  3. For security purposes, in the morning, our doors will be unlocked at 9:00am and will be locked at 10:30am. 
  4. If you arrive after 10:30am, you will need to knock on the door for entrance. 
  5. In the afternoon, doors will be unlocked at 2:00pm. 
  6. If you arrive earlier, please knock on the door. 
  7. Pickup time is between 2:00pm - 2:30pm.

 

Authorized Pickup:

  1. No child will be dismissed to anyone other than a parent, guardian, or persons listed on your child's information sheet!
  2. You will be asked to sign in upon arrival, as well as, on departure.
  3. Picture identification will be requested of anyone other than the parent or guardian.
  4. If the scheduled pickup person for a particular day has changed, please inform the director.
  5. We cannot release your child to anyone who does not appear on the child's information sheet, unless contacted by the parent or guardian.

 

Cancellations:

 

Any cancellations must be made the day before class (Monday or Wednesday).   ALL calls should be made to CDO at 817.596.9808. Please leave a message if your call is not answered.

 

Terminations:

 

A two-week notice prior to withdrawal is required, so that the child's place may be filled. The following may also constitute termination of a child's enrollment. This decision will be left to the discretion of the CDO Director.

 

  • Chronic absences or failure to attend 8 or more times in any semester.
  • Non-payment or late payment of CDO fees.
  • Failure to follow the CDO rules.
  • Disciplinary problems and disruptive behavior of a child.

 

Discipline:

 

It is our policy to discipline children in a positive Christian manner.   The word discipline is derived from the Greek word meaning "to teach." It is within this principle that we will guide the behavior of the children in our program.
