Children's Camp 

August 4-8, 2008

Cost $165 (this includes the $40 deposit)  Please do not let the cost of camp prevent your child from attending.  Contact Brian in the Children's Ministry Office if you need financial assistance. 

Camp is for kids that will complete 3rd-6th grades the 07-08 school year.

This year we are heading back to the Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose.  Our 5th and 6th graders have been to Riverbend before and love it, so it is a pleasure to be returning.

Riverbend is full of activities to keep the kids actively engaged througout the day. There is a small lake where the kids can swim, paddle boat, climb an iceberg and get launched into orbit on "The Blob."  There are trails to hike, a zip line, archery and paintball (target shooting).

Riverbend recently updated their swimming pool area by adding another pool and 2 large water slides. 

And, as always there will be 3 meals a day, crafts, crazy messy outdoor games and for the 6th graders there will be a few special events.

Along with these activities there is a morning graded Bible study an afternoon celbration service and an evening worship service.

As you can see camp is a lot of fun for both the kids and adults that go as sponsors. 

If your child has not been to camp with North Side before I would like to encourage you to talk with them about going.  They will have so much fun and will truely miss out on a fantastic experience.
