Online Giving - Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is my information secure?
Yes, your personal information is absolutely secure. Our research on this subject has taken us months to arrive at a solution that we feel confident is the best solution for both you the contributor, and us the church.
2. Can I set up recurring contributions?
Yes, it is possible for you to establish a recurring gift via the Online Giving system.
3. How do I change my recurring contributions?
To change your recurring gift to a different account, or to change the amount you will need to delete that recurring contribution and create a new one.
4. Do I have to fill in the "Designation" box?
If you are giving to more than one account, i.e. the General Budget, and the Building Fund, then please note that in the "Designation" box. Any un-designated amounts of your contribution will be considered a gift to the General Budget.
5. Will gifts through the Online Giving system be tax-deducible?
All gifts through the Online Giving system are considered just as they would be if you gave during one of our church services.
6. Is there a cost to the church for this service?
The church will pay approximately 2.35% for every transaction that is handled through the Online Giving system. This is an amount that we consider to be a cost of doing business. If you are so inclined to increase your gift proportionately, the additional funds will of course help offset the processing costs associated with that transaction.
