Advent Guide | Available Now
This year, we are providing a Family Advent Guide to help your family celebrate this Christmas season with meaning and spiritual significance. Guides contain devotions, Scripture readings, and activity ideas for families at any stage. Using these guides weekly will provide an opportunity for your family to be regularly reminded of God's provision for us in Christ this Christmas season. Pick up your guide in Guest Services, The Outlet, or at the Preschool Red Desk.
Carols, Candles and Children
December 8 at 6:30pm
This is one of our congregation’s most beloved traditions of the season. Under the direction of some committed volunteers, our Children’s Choirs will bless you with their presentation of wonderful Christmas music. From the tiniest little preschoolers, to our super talented older elementary kids, you will see why music is such a big part of the ministry of NSBC. After the children’s choirs finish their set, we’ll be joined by Grandpa Van in his Christmas jammies for a telling of the Christmas story that you will never forget! The mass of children on the stage, combined with the unrehearsed presentation of the story provides for some great opportunities to laugh out loud! We close up the evening with some of your favorite Christmas Carols, finishing up by candlelight. It is a beautiful and fun evening for all.
Choir Christmas Musical | Shepherds & Kings
December 14 & 15 at 6:30pm
Each year our sanctuary choir, Higher Praise, presents a Christmas program that is a blessing to all. Our many talented singers and actors work for months to prepare for these two special performances. The evening will be filled with special music, drama, as well as a clear presentation of the meaning of Christmas. To give everyone an opportunity to experience this incredible program, it is presented in full on Saturday and again on Sunday evening. Make plans to join us on December 14th or 15th for this incredible presentation.
