“Together through worship, education, evangelism, ministry and fellowship we will share the Gospel, deepen spiritual lives, value one another and create a vision for touching the world one life at a time.”
God is the "Grand Designer" of our lives. We only see the fragmented parts, but He sees the big picture of our lives. He knows what He wants to accomplish and all the little pieces are being used to accomplish "His Masterpiece." We can't see the plan in full until we are with Him in Heaven. We can't understand how any of it makes sense until we begin by coming to the cross.
All of the pieces of the cross are broken and imperfectly shaped with different designs and colors. We need to come to the cross broken, not fixed and perfect. So many say they are waiting to come to God until their lives are in order, presentable to the Lord. When we're broken, it's God's job to put us back together - to make us whole and beautiful.
The blank pieces in the mosaic cross represent those still to come to the cross of Christ. The mirrored pieces in the mosaic cross represent the refection of Jesus in our lives and our hearts. We ourselves were created unique, but together we bring the beauty in each other's lives.
