Adults Ages 50 and Older

This age-based ministry is for those who are considered part of the Boomer Generation. Their purpose statement is to build relationships through activities and events which foster a sense of community with a unified focus toward Missions and Ministry to fulfill The Great Commandment and The Great Commission in Weatherford, Texas, and around the world.

What is Boomer Life?

Our ministry to adults who are in or approaching the empty nest stage of life is called Boomers. Many in this stage are still working, and actively involved in the lives of their adult children. The Boomers' Ministry of NSBC is designed to reach those who are age 50 and up. We strive to connect members of this generation to the Lord and to one another in an atmosphere of Christian love and fellowship. Our hope is that our Boomers will not only take the lead in serving and outreach, but be an example of mature, dedicated Christians to younger generations of adults.
The Boomer ministry of NSBC is an active group sponsoring events and doing mission work all throughout the year. We gather in fellowship as part of Adult Bible Studies, and serve together through these groups as well.
