This Sunday, we continued our summer series examining encounters with Jesus by looking at a powerful story from Matthew 8:1-4. We explored how Jesus provides hope for the hopeless through his healing of a man with leprosy. This wasn't just a physical healing—it was a complete restoration that addressed both the man's physical disease and his spiritual separation from God and community. The sermon challenged us to recognize where God is working around us and to see ourselves as messengers of hope in a world desperately needing it.
