Join us at North Side
Sundays at 9:30am & 11:00am
Let us send you a PRE-VISIT email
Thank you for your interest in North Side! Below you will find basic information about our worship services, kids ministries, what to expect on a visit, and more. You can also request a pre-visit email to connect with one of our staff ahead of time.
As you’re checking out North Side, we’re here to help. We would love to connect with you directly to answer questions you may have!
What To Expect
From the moment you arrive at North Side, you’ll feel the difference—from the convenient parking spaces
reserved for first-time guests to the warm smiles and friendly handshakes of our Host Team.
We offer Worship Services and Core Groups at both 9:30am and 11:00am, with preschool and kids programming available during both times. PreTeens through High School students meet at 11:00am.
No matter your age or stage of life, there’s something for everyone in your family.
Most of all, we want to welcome you into our church family and into new life in Christ.
We hope you’ll discover, as many have, that North Side is a place where you can truly belong.

Bringing kids?
The info below will help you all feel at home on your first visit to NSBC.
Parents of Preschoolers
Attending church with preschoolers can be a challenge, but we’ve made it easier. Our caring, secure preschool area lets kids learn about Jesus while parents attend worship or a Core Group.
We recommend parking in the north lot and entering through the Children’s Building to check in at the red desk, where you’ll receive a nametag
and matching security tag.
No matter where you park, our Host Team will help guide you. At North Side, we want church to be simple and stress-free for families.

Parents of
Elementary Kids
We believe in partnering with parents to help shape their children’s faith. That’s why we encourage families with kids in kindergarten and up to attend worship together—it helps children learn by example.
Kids K–4th attend Core Groups in the Children’s Theater, and 5th–6th graders join our PreTeen Ministry at 11:00. Bible study is offered during
both the 9:30am and 11:00am hours.
Our goal is to make it easy
for families to grow in Christ together.

Parents of Teens
To encourage shared experiences and deeper community, all middle and high school students attend the 9:30 am service together,
followed by Core Groups at 11:00 am.
This rhythm creates space for students to grow in community and gives parents a great chance to plug into an adult Core Group during the same hour. Our campus is large, so we recommend choosing a spot to meet your student afterward.

How Should I Dress?
We care more about meeting your real-life needs than about what you wear. Our atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed, and friendly, with attire ranging from casual to corporate casual. You might see a few ties, but just as many cowboy boots and jeans—it is Texas, after all!
How Early Should I Arrive?
Arrive 15–20 minutes early to park, check in your kids, and grab coffee before heading into the Worship Center. It’s best to be seated before the music starts, since it’s harder to find open seats once everyone is standing. Our Host Team will be glad to help you find a spot.
Where Should I Park?
On-site parking fills quickly, so we also offer two remote lots with shuttle service: the Bowie Lot (behind the James Bowie Learning Center, accessed via Edna Street through Couts United Methodist Church) and the West Lot (across Main Street from NSBC). For safety, please use the shuttle from the West Lot—crossing Main Street on foot is dangerous. See the campus map for details.

A Church for Every Generation
Since 1897, North Side has been committed to leading every generation toward a fully-formed life with Jesus through holistic discipleship and the strength of intergenerational relationships. We believe faith grows deeper when the wisdom of older generations meets the energy of the younger—worshiping, serving, and encouraging one another.
Here, senior adults celebrate young families bringing their children to church, kids learn to honor those who came before them, and parents are reminded of the legacy built by generations of faithful believers.
At North Side, every generation matters, and we grow stronger together in Christ.

How can I find out more about North Side?
At North Side, there’s something for everyone. One of the best ways to connect, build relationships, and grow in God’s Word is through our Core Groups, offered for all ages on Sundays at 9:30 and 11:00 am, with many also meeting during the week. Our Women’s and Men’s Ministries provide additional groups throughout the year.
We also invite you to attend our monthly Connection Class to learn about our beliefs, history, mission, and vision—all while enjoying light refreshments. For current discipleship and ministry opportunities, stop by the Guest Services desk in the Worship Center foyer on Sunday before or after the service.
